| As of September 9th, 2010, we will be enforcing new batch submission rules. We've been getting over-run with the amount of submissions, and the constant flow of submitters who do not follow directions. If you don't follow these specific rules, we will not accept submissions.Batch e-mail: dragonsfuryffrbatch@gmail.com* Files must be submitted as a .zip file * Folder should look like this: Song Name [Stepartist] - for the sake of alphabetizing. * Files must be submitted to the batch e-mail as an ATTACHMENT. Files sent outside of the e-mail will not be reviewed; files sent via hosting sites (megaupload, 4shared, etc.) will not be reviewed * Files sent into the batch may be revised TWO times if accepted, or THREE times if rejected, per month. Cutting a song slightly and considering it a different file does not give you extra attempts as a different song. * If a file has already been put in game - revisions for it will not be accepted (your fault for not making the file perfect before submitting ). * If a collaboration requires revision, you will have the listed amounts as a GROUP - you will not get six attempts for a two person collab, nine for three, etc. * We will not be accepting files for song artists that are extremely main-stream. If you aren't sure, please ask in this thread. Re-steps of other bemani/rhythm-game music is acceptable. * Maximum length for any submission is eight minutes and fifty-three seconds (8:53.33333333...). It's not an ambiguous number as this, mathematically rounds to 16000 frames. * FILL OUT YOUR SM FILE. Label the artist and song name PROPERLY. (Open the .sm file in Notepad, and fill out the name of the song title, and artist - if you get a song from newgrounds and your file has a ton of numbers followed by an underscore and then the name of the song title [i.e. 111111_(name)], we won't accept it. It takes less than a minute to do this). * 2nd versions of stepcharts may be sent in if they greatly vary from the first version in difficulty and are by a different step-artist. Note that these will be judged a lot harsher.

| One more thing I want to bring up if you just submitted a file like a few days ago and haven't heard anything about it don't like freak out and automatically think it's rejected when chances are we haven't even gotten to take a good look at it yet. This happened a LOT this month. We're not ignoring reviews or anything we were just trying to get everything in place for the tourney and with as many file as have come in this month it's been a lot to keep up with. So just be patient <3 | |

For the sub-title, you want that to be the step artist name, correct?

| A file can be longer then 16000 frames if setup correctly, Dungeon.1 on my engine plays for the full 17 minutes flawlessly. The only thing is, it can't be done easily with flash installed. | |

| What is the main reason that mainstream songs can't be stepped*? If we understand the reasoning behind it, it'll be easier for users to decide what's appropriate and what isn't.
*does it have to do with labels/companies discovering this site and usage of their songs?

*does it have to do with labels/companies discovering this site and usage of their songs? The mainstream stuff already has enough junk with them trying to go around suing everyone for downloading and junk i mean hell my roommate left something on his bittorrent and it was seeding we got contacted by our service provider who got contacted by one of the companies I can't remember which. My roomie just told them our connection was unsecure and someone must have gone on it to get out of it lol but yea that coulda been bad. We're less likely to have issues with independent artists.

| I just wish I could figure out if my file was rejected or just hasn't been looked at yet. D: Tried not to be annoying and whatnot by directly asking (tourneys, important shit, etc), figured I could find out somewhere already. =S | |
