| All clutter removed aside from the rules that Kayla created. Credit goes to her for the structure.
Chat rules I don't mind people having some fun and goofing off. But, some things will not be tolerated. 1. Excessive spamming 2. Flaming other users 3. Excessive cursing (its ok to curse once in a while, but don't take it to an extreme) 4. Posting inappropriate content. (no linking porn)
Forum rules Same as with the chatbox. I want you guys to have fun - there is more freedom here than FFR. But keep it civil. 1. Flaming 2. Posting inappropriate content 3. Excessive post whoring. (This mainly goes for making a bunch of useless topics and cluttering up the forums with junk) The garbage bin is pretty much fair game. I don't really care what you post there but keep it out of our main forum and don't take it too far. (also no porn here either)
One last thing I want to mention. I have been asked several times by different people for mod/admin positions. As of right now we do not need any. When the time comes AJ and I will use our discretion and chose who we feel is best suited for the position. I will only say this once. The more you ask about a position the more likely you are NOT going to get it.

| I typically don't even bother going into the forum game section of this but I went in there recently to see that a lot of bs going on. If you guys can't behave yourselves in that section of the forum it will be removed. And don't think just because I know most of you pretty well that I wont ban people. Just cut the crap out Okay. | |

| It really is. I don't know if Kayla has thought about removing it, but I have. Problem is, people like to linger there more than any other part of the forum. | |

| Well no offense, but I would rather be on a team that can keep up an educational discussion then on one filled with people that post whore in a 5 different threads 3 times a day. | |

| Yeah... but it's nice to have a place to be creative (Last Letter game) and blow off steam (Ban the person above you). "Rate the person above you" threads are kinda pointless here since there's so little turnover of users. I'm surprised people haven't gotten bored of those already.
Locking threads is a little sudden. Next time something like this comes up, could you post a warning so as to discuss it?
If it keeps people active and returning, I say the "Forum Games" section is acceptable. (Nobody's counting posts, right? It's quality, not quantity.)

I don't want to shut down that section I really don't. I have no problems with it being "post whoring" what I do have a problem with is when people start attacking eachother in the threads. We've all gotten along pretty frigging well for almost a year I don't want drama starting now because of someone saying something stupid in the bans or something. I can always unlock threads I have locked which is why I didn't delete them as of yet. But for now those particular threads are shut down.

| Forum games started to get on my nerves because of the constant post whoring that goes on there. I stopped once I seen Oliver and Duddy just boosting their post count because they are trying to beat each other in a so called duel. | |

| Last warning.
Stop being immature in the forums/chat. If Kayla sees it, you will have a temp ban. If I see it, you will have a temp ban. This goes for EVERYONE.
Bans for any other rules being constantly disobeyed are still the same, use common sense for christ's sake. We're trying to keep people at bay and calm; trying to make this a hang out. If specific people are going to try and ruin that, you simply won't be allowed here anymore.
Kayla and I are tired of seeing people continuing their behavior when we've said more than once to stop; that shows a disrespect to us.
Enough is enough. If I have to hold your hand out and slap it until you get it right, then I'll do it.

| I understand shutting down the rating threads but I dont think the ban game should be locked, cause..isn't that kinda the point to be a little mean? anyways, I apologize for the massive whoring session this month ^_^ | |

2. I thought only Merc was asking for mod rights 3. Lol AJ rant 4. 100th post 1. There are... they can be found on the bottom of the Index page (Admin, Mod, Chat Mod, DF Member, Non-DF Member) 2. The whole asking for mod rights thing was a while ago... this thread needs to be updated just a wee bit. I've got Kayla and AJ working on getting a list out of ban lengths/infractions so it's a little more organized and easier to tell how much trouble you're in/will get in. 3. AJ good points 4. 55th post

this is probably the most idiotic pointless forum"game" that has possibly been conceived. the only thing it instigates is POST WHORING. saying that you can use to blow off steam is pretty retarded considering every post there is competely stupid. its void of any discussion and it isnt a game at all. there are no set rules and the only interaction you get from it is pseudo-gratification. imho all forum game threads that have no real game factor should be locked and should not be allowed. things like TWG and such should be the only games that are allowed because theyre, you know, actual games. btw you should just make everyones forum post count be GIANT COCK so everyone could feel like they raccomplish their e-life dream of being an INTERNET BADASS

| Since that is a reply to me, I'll take it as sarcasm.
I agree that the forum games are 99% postwhoring. On the other hand, video games are 99% stress-relief. How exactly does shooting a grunt with a spartan laser develop real-world skills? Since postwhoring doesn't actually mean anything, I don't mind. Now, if I had a nickel for every post, then I'd be postwhoring like a bamf.
Bottom line, people come here to have fun. It's okay to be goofy once in a while. --- By the way, good luck getting The Werewolf Game on this forum. In all seriousness, feel free to suggest good, creative games if you don't like the current ones. If the other threads are any testament, new games will be active.

| Agreed that we need some better games... the staples are always nice, but they get kinda old. Guess the Song from the SS needs to be more active, since it's more like a game than pretty much everything else in the forum. Song Mating is nice too... WITH THAT ALL BEING SAID, this thread is for Forum Rules discussion, so let's try and reroute the thread with the next few posts.
The postwhoring issue is resolved somewhat, considering post count is no longer tracked (it is, but not displayed). Obviously if it becomes a nuisance to enough people something more detrimental will be done.

| You can't really blame anyone for post whoring at this point, the custom ffr is still a toddler compared to what FFR used to be before it went down. The amount of songs are still low, but that doesn't mean anything, it's just not enough yet for a growing community to get some competition out of. | |

| Rather than making an entire new announcement, I'm just going to say this:
We're done giving warnings. There's no reason for us even have to be moderating here with the group of people we have here, but obviously there's some conflict between a few people and frankly, we're tired of repeating ourselves and telling people to cut out their stupid behavior.
So, yeah. I don't know how the rest of the staff is going to react, but I'm through with saying anything in response to idiotic behavior. You'll be sitting off of the site (INCLUDING the custom engine, because we WILL ban you from using it if you act away from how you're supposed to) for a few days and if we have to keep banning you, your time sitting away from the site will grow.
You've all been warned.
