Uh oh... going down the leaderboard :/

K then, since we've obviously had problems with people being able to participate, it has been decided to run a 2nd poker night for people like myself who, though want to participate (and is p good too ) cannot get Fridays off, or have other responsibilities, etc.

I will be the person spearheading the 2nd day, and I can do it either Saturday or Sunday night, around the same time as Friday (10pm EST). I've set up a poll to decide when it will happen. Probably going to just do it Saturday night this week, and whatever we decide for next week.

Can we participate it twice or is this strictly for those that can't make friday nights?

I wouldn't have that much of a problem with people playing in both until it becomes a problem... like if someone was playing in all 9 games every week and getting 1st in points because of it and everyone was making this face

Hrm... My issue is the time of day, not the day itself.

To counter this av. rankings should be used in the leaderboard with 5 games being the minimum to rank, as to avoid people winning one or two then buggering off and staying at the top?

Yea actually maybe the 2nd one should be in the afternoon of saturday or sunday. That would be nice for those that can't be on at that time of night (or different time zone)

If it was an afternoon we're looking for, it'd have to be Sunday. I get off work at 8pm on Saturday, but 4pm on Sunday.

Well, based on the majority, whenever we have the Poker ladder, I'll still take care of the rankings.

We only had one game which is saddening.

I know this is kind of out of the blue but If some of yall are still looking to get a bankroll started, Full Tilt poker offers a $40 prize pool tourney with a 500k play chip entry fee and there is usually around 50 or 60 people in each of the tourneys. Just thought I'd let all of ya know.

Not sure if anyone still plays poker but pokerstars has made something I think is pretty awesome. They now have a feature called home games where you create you own poker club and can schedule your own tournaments for play money as well as real money. Was wondering if anyone would want to start up a dragons fury poker club.

That could be cool. There are a couple ppl on here that have pokerstars accounts

I didn't know that you could make tables on stars without paying for them...I like that!

I'd love to manage this and make a fresh leaderboard if anyone is interested.

EDIT: holy fuck, this has EVERYTHING I've been looking for in running a league...I was trying to find a management software, but I had no idea that PS had all of this together. This had to have been added within the last day or two because I'm on Pokerstars on a rather frequent basis, playing in the PSO Skill League tournaments.

I'm gonna play with this a little bit.
