With each direction gives definition of ourselves. It wouldn't be entirely interesting if there's "I agree's". As for the quote, it's a complexed thought that can relate to a vast amount of things. Literature, life, politics, etc. When I first heard this quote I thought of it being a rebirth for life. reason is because the past is what defines who you are. if you commit such a horrid crime like murder, obviously you are wanted dead by some while the murdered should be alive. Another take on the past idea is that the past humanity is considerably better than today's. All of the great minds of the past that have lead to today are gone. it can be said that this quote is just a hypothetical question of what would the world be like if this key person were alive. obviously that would the future and those of today would be different. this can also be about all of the innocent lives lost in wars, murders, and disease. perhaps they should live as well and again, their alives would affect us today.
