Goodbye

Sorry for those who didn't want me to leave, but in the situation I'm in right now, it's crossed the line. This whole week has been very emotional for me, in a negative way. I've already been slacking off in school and need to get on task. I've relied too much on online friends to have their attention on me and to make me happy. I've already dispersed from FFR and SM, but that hasn't really solved my real problem. I've hit depression, yet again (happened first last year), I'm severely heartbroken for many personal reasons, and I see now what I must do.

It's been a real pleasure being with you all here, meeting new friends, getting in touch with old friends, and I apologize if I've gotten a bit carried away sometimes with my sarcasm, or trying to grab attention, or getting mad when I shouldn't be. I think it's best I leave to avoid these situations. I'm sure one less active member wouldn't hurt.

Of course I will still be online, but only on AIM and facebook, on my original screen name (samurai7694), so if you'd like, I'm free to talk.

Don't get me wrong, I had a blast spending time here, all the VC sessions, chatbox moments, getting incredibly good at FFR and SM, omgpop games and poker games. You guys have no idea how much you helped me receive the love and attention that I couldn't find in my own house with my family. I sometimes find it unbearable to live with 10 other family members in a one story house, only having two people pay for everyone, with little food and no one to have good conversations with since they all speak a language I can't speak well.

Well, didn't mean to go off on a long speech, so I'll cut off here. Thank you all, I still love all of my old and new friends that I've made here, I hope you guys have successful futures, like I hope I do, and for those still playing FFR and SM, you'll get to the skill you want to be at, if you set your mind to it, and have that motivation and dedication. Just remember to balance it with your life schedule.

I would like to give a special shout out to my VC mafia group (Bri, Byron, Mike, Monica, Tiffany, Roy), AJ and Kayla who worked their asses off to make all this a reality for all of us, Ally for being the most supportive and caring friend, and of course, everyone in the DF community, you guys are cool.





I would leave with a smile, unfortunately I don't have one right now. This isn't easy for me to do since I've been a part of a rhythm game community starting with FFR for almost 4 years, but to at least say something, I will simply just say "Goodbye guys, take care, and I hope you find what you're looking for in your lives. Peace."

Everyone has a point in time where they know that they have to get their priorities straight. Like you, my time is running thin as well. But, you know that you have people here to talk to. Keep in touch with everyone.

you dont have to leave completely, just get done what needs to be done, then what you want done, and when all is right again stop by we will miss you samurai. you were a legend amongst us all

Hey Luis! It was nice to meet you and I'm glad that we are now good friends! For your situation, we all completely understand and like AJ said, there will be a time when we must leave a community to prioritize our personal life. Personally, I am beginning to see me not necessarily leave this community but become a little less active since I am beginning to type up 25 pgs. of math homework, constantly studying to keep my marks up, preparing for a national math contest, and hopefully be successful with life as time goes by. Of course this will all happen to us at some point, but please stop by once in a while

AJ and Kayla, thank you for providing an alternative FFR community for us. We all appreciate your work and what you have done for us to make us enjoy DF.

Dear Luis,

        I would hope you will check this thread for replies. I mean, there should be e-mails spamming your e-mail about this. You have no idea how great this summer was. I was in Connecticut with my step-dad, mom, and sister that I haven't seen for a year, so I didn't really have a connection or anything to do. You and other s have made my summer just the best. I still laugh at the inside jokes that were started from you or other people (37, hot sauce, Byron's laughing, your underwear, your synonymous stripper name, Lucia, dancing, the list goes on forever...). You have been one of the coolest person to me and others around here. Our friendship rocketed from that one VC session that was just pure epic. Hell, I even stayed up until 6AM with you all night, hehe. I don't think I've thanked you or anyone else for what they've done for me and others this summer. It's been one hell of a time, dude. I hope you get everything straightened out and march on to your future. Maybe we can be roommates at the dorms of Berklee College of Music in Boston But until that might happen, carry on with life. Stay in touch, Lulu/Lucia/imagirlok/Luid/Cuban/Fence Jumper/69/37/Ryan Seacrest. God knows how many names you go by.

And also, I understand you'll be on this site less because of school and such, but that doesn't mean you should try to quit stepmania cold turkey. Rebound said he was going to quit but then he experienced the extinction burst, he just transferred his reward system and now plays stepmania with limits. You don't have to eliminate stepmania to manage your time, but I do know how it's like; some days I don't play stepmania at all.

If you ever want to talk about something, you have us to talk to (Dragonsfury and the mafia ).

Luis, you've been an amazing friend to me. Our talks and everything have been meaningful to the both of us.
