Mortal Kombat Ninjas

Round Robin Tournament, everyone plays each other once twice per week. The 5 players with the most wins that week advance to round 2. Round 2 is the same deal, round robin, everyone faces each other twice. The top 2 with the most wins advances to the final round. Final round, is best of 3. First to 2 wins in the winner.

In the event of a tie in amount of wins to advance, those 2 players will play each other in a best of 3.

My choice is Noob Saibot. Main reason? I used to PWN as him lmfao. His up down button move kicks peoples ass and you can be cheap and keep doing it if you wanted haha. His shit was ridiculous xD

I beg to differ. My friend Ellis used to play that game NON STOP in high school. We would go to school do our stuff after and come home and play Mortal Kombat for HOURS. Well I always picked either Rayden, Sub Zero, Scorpion, or Reptile. I don't know why, but I did lol. He would ALWAYS use Noob Saibot. So one day our friend Rory came over. There used to be Mortal Kombat tournaments around the neighborhood and stuff that we all went too. Rory one it every time. He was Ermac.

Ellis never joined the tournaments cause he was always doing band or what not for his music career. Well this day Ellis decided since he was completely free he would come over and play as Noob Saibot.

Out of 25 rounds that all of us kids had to do it was narrowed down to us FOUR. Rory, Ellis, Billy, and I. Rory = Ermac, Ellis = Noob Saibot, Billy = Rain, Me = Sub Zero.

Rory beat me, obviously, simply because Ermac's spells are too quick compared to Sub Zero's, and Ellis Beat Billy, naturally.

In the final round they went 3 out of 5 games. Fair enough we all said, and it was. Well, first game, Ellis beat him 3-0.... He DESTROYED Rory. Now let me tell you, Rory could play Ermac with his eyes shut. He knew every move and every key combination, and was FAST at moving. Just when you thought he was on the right he quickly rolled around and was on the left. One of the good things about Noob is that the UP DOWN combination transports you from one side to the other and if your opponent is in your teleport path they got knocked down quick enough. Well, Ellis used that to his advantage, CONSTANTLY. Whether people said it was cheap or not Ellis would use that move and by the time Rory could get up officially he was down half his life because of the move combination from Ellis. Ellis would simply do it again and game over.

Second game, Rory won 3-2. Fair enough. Ermac succeeded lol. He learned to not be so shifty all the time and countered Ellis's attacks.

Third game, Rory won 3-1. Don't ask, I really don't know what Ellis was doing lol

Fourth and fifth game.... Sigh, There was absolute no contest. Now I don't know what the hell was up with Ellis but he shifted into fucking TURBO mode and never STOPPED moving doing moves hitting him with anything and everything. Final two matches 6-0 ... clean swipe with about 3 of them being FLAWLESS VICTORIES!!

Ermac is amazing, don't get me wrong, but then again you have to figure if people are veteran enough in their own little character, they can be insane! Like me with Sub Zero, I beat Rory a few times during tournaments afterwards. I realized certain combinations and movement tactics to out maneuver him. Freezing your opponent when they were off guard was excellent. Hard to do and get off, but excellent.

But, all in all, I would agree that with a veteran Ermac they would wreck, but depending on your opponent and how veteran he is.

Anyone can wreck anyone else with any character as long as they're skilled in blocking and parrying. It takes some reflexes, and a bit of timing.

All 10 teams are officially up with the exception of mine.



Smokin Guns is very good with Kano, Sheeva he is decent with, and Sindel, well, it's Sindel. Scream, punch, scream punch, etc. Gonna be a toughy.



Hara-Kiri definately saved his best for last. He's pretty decent with Nightwolf and Liu Kang, I assume he chose those 2 quick guys for a quick wear down, and if he ever gets dropped to Sub Zero, he has his best at his disposal.



My buddy Shane surprised me with this one.... He's IUP Assassins. His best used to be Cyrax. Don't get me wrong, he's pretty good with Reptile, and Jade. Rayden is really good too, if he can still use him.



Renegade's are pretty odd team. Looks like he picked his favorites. He's pretty good with Jax, not so good with Reptile, after MK2, and Scorpion, not so sure about. We shall see how he performs.


The GPO's (Get Pooped On, out clan on Xbox 360) look pretty deadly. Baraka and Kabal are extremely deadly with good users. Shand Tsung is of course, Shang Tsung. He's as deadly as any character in the game, and he's pretty good by himself. Anyone ever notice that in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Shang Tsung is missing a morph? I know which one it is, lets see if you can figure it out.


Under World Warriors, not too worried about. Noob Saibot, is pretty Noobish, but super easy to avoid. Just jump backwards when he teleports, jump over the cloud, and there ya go, he's an easy win. Rain I'm kind of worried about. The Rain bubble I'm not so worried about, it's avoiding it and being hit by lightning right after it. You can't escape it unless he messes it up. Rain's combos are quick and deadly too, a good player can do the power kick for an 8 Combo, and win. Im not so worried about Stryker, well because...... STRYKER IS THE WORST CHARACTER EVER



My buddy David, well, he didn't shock me, but he definately made me go what the fuck on this one. Sektor is unbelievable for a choice, for him. I never remember him using Sektor much. He is VERY good with Cyrax, I always remember the Cyrax vs Cyrax duels he'd have with Shane. He's decent with Ermac, but he's no pro with Ermac, like myself, no pun intended.



My buddy Ed (DixieNormous) is scary with those 3 x_X. He's a spear freak. The only idea I had about him picking scorpion as well, is he couldn't pick Human Smoke twice. Even though they are the same exact character, with the same moves, their combos are different. He know's Scorpions quite well though. Cyborg Smoke, he's deadly with. This is going to be my biggest challenge late in the game if I get there.


Hook-Line-Sinker is ridiculous with Sonya. His combos are out of this world good. Johnny Cage, well, I wish I was using him . Cage is a beast, but I want the Ninja's in my vote, not anyone else. Mileena........


Mileena could be, easily, the 2nd easiest character to beat, or the 2nd hardest character to beat. All depends on how good you are with Mileena, but either way, Im not liking this one. Gonna be tough.
