| also at the end, you say the ending stream shouldn't be there, but on 0.5x, you can hear that if defiantly fits (albeit with a couple extra layered in notes) |

| Remember that .5 is not 1.0. Just because it fits well on .5 doesn't mean it'll snuggly fie well on 1.0 |

| Exactly. While every arrow might be perfectly in sync, if they go too fast to be pressed, it's just not fun at all. For instance, if your song only gets playable at 0.5x, I guess you should lower the difficulty. |

| bob bob, consider how the file plays at normal speed first - part of making simfiles is to sort out essential vs nonessential sounds and instruments to step |

| Erm, Carlos, what about that Classical Insanity.sm file you mentioned in your review? It's not in the list of files awaiting review and I sure as hell wouldn't step a song already in the FFR engine since like 2002. Unless this is just a dumb joke, I don't understand what happened here.
Also, thank you for your scores, it is very appreciated. Now, now, where can we hear more about this "climax theory"? ;D |

| Got me there, wc.
I forgot to rename it. This happened because before using ddream I didn't know how to create blank sm files apart from copying other sm's already existing.
The song's name should read "In Flux (5 Note Piano Prelude)" |

| The climax theory is [I hope I get this relatively right] is pretty much like it is in books. There's a beginning, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
To apply it to a file, you'd start at some difficulty, play around with that, then progressively get harder or more exciting. If you are having a whole bunch of crap throughout, then there's no excitement. Especially if the song has a climax which is more exciting than the rest of the song, then you'd want that part to have more to it.
Hope I explained that kind of well. I wish I could think of a good file that shows the climax theory well but I haven't played today so I can't think of any off the top of my head. |

| That does make some sense but then the file wouldn't be so beginner friendly as I'd intended it... Kinda hard to apply that to a file that is mostly 8th notes with only 2 12th notes though. But I'll look at it to see if I can do something reasonable with it. (Referring to the chart for "Bells") |

| Even in easier files you can have climax theory. You don't have to go nuts and make it uber difficult to achieve it. It's just like a little extra umph at the end of a file. _________________ |

| I don't even think "boring PR" makes sense. When it comes to PR, you either have good or bad PR, not "fun" or "boring" PR. Hopefully that'll make things a bit more linear. |

| Ask Carlos and AJ about the old version of the file. It had constant rolls because that's what the PR was; a whole bunch of up/down scales. Consistently playing rolls for a few minutes constitutes as "boring" PR, a lot of people can agree. |

It's the matter of before, the song had too many repetitive patterns. So I got rid of them. |

| :3 Sorry that was more diva-ish than I meant it. I'm aware that I'm new to this, so I'm gonna make mistakes, just ask and I can answer, though. Also, appreciate the warm support. n.n Sara, if you were interested in what I meant by issues with the PR, it was that you had some spots where, for example, you'd start the highest note on the 4, and then continue with a roll pattern which would flow really well, and then next time around you'd start the roll on 3 and it would play weird because the pattern had just been done but they both started on a different arrow. This was more towards the middle of the song. My biggest issue though was the flat difficulty, but I think adding a bit more layering could fix that up real nice. Sorry again for the confusion, feel free to ask me questions about my reviews, though, I'm pretty open elaborating on my inconsistencies. |

| About carol of the bells
I took a pretty old school concept and added a new school spin on it. The i5h jumps that should be 4th are 8ths because they felt better as 8ths(QED theory). Should've been ovbious that I wasn't trying to add jumps to the 16th stream so not going to go into that. 16th stream does go to the guitar like you mentioned since its an up/down strum. If by mixing it up you mean adding jumps then nope. I left out the jumps for a reason and that reason should be pretty obvious. I'll check out the ghost notes though |
