| Hey everyone. Krunky here with something that's been on my mind for the last two days. The other day I was reading an article about Obama's foreign policy he addressed to the graduates of West Point. Article = http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100523/ap_on_re_us/us_obamaNow, after reading the entire article, one thing I questioned, was how the graduates are going right to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. I know that these soldiers have endured tremendous training, mental and physical. I know that they expected to go right to war. But, my question is, why Iraq? Wasn't it stated that they were pulling soldiers OUT of Iraq? I know about 15 soldiers that are in Iraq right now, as we speak. Every time they have emailed their family members they ask, "We have no idea what the point is anymore to be here." I never understood why they put so much emphasis on Iraq. With all due respect, we would have caught Osama Bin Laden a long time ago if we just focused more on the Afghanny war. Wasn't the 9/11 attack based from Bin Laden? Yes. Who is it that keeps granting us his "pleasurable" videos of tortured American soldiers? Bin Laden. Quite frankly, I'm getting sick of hearing about Iraq. The war has been over there since Hussein was captured and executed. Yes, it's time to rebuild, and that there are still terrorists roaming around. But, there have been reports of Osama roaming around Kabal for a while now, officials have stated. He has been roaming underground through the entire northeast, honestly. Why don't we focus on obtaining the "star" of it all? I know this is kind of out of the blue, but it's been something that has been bothering me now for a while. What does everyone else think? Am I the only one who has a problem with this issue? Discuss. | |

| It seems that he is falling from his pedestal of promises. I would never trust his promises. People said that they were impossible but HOPE was used quite a bit. He's now returning to what has been to known to "work". Focus has been lost indeed. I'm starting to question if the United States government THINKS they have to be there or have a real reason to be there (excluding oil). I only ask that because there will always be terrorism. The radicals and extremists will always be around.
Leads on where Osama currently roams are touchy. The US is not regularly welcomed to search internationally. Thanks to the UN, secrecy is kind of impossible.
Also, on another note, Bin Laden is the head of this. If you capture/kill him, that only makes him a martyr for his followers to become even more crazy or powerful. It's really not our problem, but has been made.
Bear with my unjointed ideas. I"m just typing as I think. And I don't feel like revising it.

| Understood.
But, if we captured osama, yes I can see them going crazy or getting more powerful, but it is STILL a blow to the Al Quaeda that must be seen. To show that the US is not just sitting around taking this lightly.
As long as Bin Laden roams no one is safe. He is #1 Most Wanted. Must be taken care of imo.

| No, Osama is still around. The latest is that he was spotted back in his home town about 2 days ago. My thing is, he still roams there all the damn time. Mainly to protect his family from questioning and threats, so..... set up a trap. Seriously. | |
